Providing shoes for children in need

What We Do

In partnership with Eblen Charities' "If the Shoe Fits" program and Payless Shoes, the Asheville Tourists/Eblen Charities Children's Fund  has raised more than $330,000 since 2002. That money was used to purchase more than 22,000 pairs of shoes for school children in Buncombe County.

Fund-Raising Events

Our funding comes from selling wristbands at Thirsty Thursday Asheville Tourist baseball games, a summer golf tournament, membership in the Cheek Insurance Team, hosting a luncheon at a Tourist youth baseball clinic and donations from businesses and individuals.

Donations
